Saturday 7th March
Spring Clean at the ground
General spring clean, putting up the nets, fixing the fence, cleaning out the changing rooms and container etc etc.
Bring ladders, gloves and your brawn to halp get the club and ground ready for the new season.
Saturday 14th March
Wicklow Holi Festival
GCC will be hosting the Festival of Colours at Druids. Members of our Indian cricket community will gather to celebrate with dance, song and music as well as good food from 11am-2pm.
Competition for the best Biriyani with food and fun for all.
Friday 20th March
GCC annual quiz night
Bring a table of four, support your club and try to beat the Hattons and raise vital funds for the start of the season. €40 per table, with raffles prizes galore.
Saturday 18th April
Annual ANZAC day game.
This year will be bigger and better than ever with the Aussies taking on the Kiwis in a do or die game of cricket for the Trans Tasman Trophy. Bouncy castle and magician for the kids, bbq, drinks and music from 'DJ Fitz' and a monster raffle with all proceeds going to the Australian Bushfire Appeal. All Aussies and Kiwis conatct Pottsie if you want to play in one of the two 20/20s on the day.
Saturday 25th April
GCC Presidents Dinner and 2019 Awards NIght
Venue - Druids Glen Resort
Dress - Black Tie (optional but most of us will be donning the tux and bringing the Wags in their frilly best)
Cost - €40 per head for buffet dinner
Time - 7.30 drinks 8pm, Dinner
This is our biggest celebration of the year with awards for the best of 2019 for all divisions. All are welcome.
