Match Selections

Due to work commitments our self-styled Selection Czar has decided that it's time for him to step down. The committee wanted to say thanks very much to Stephen for all his hard work and to let him know that his work was very much appreciated :-)
Now that he is gone however .... we need to recruit a new person to help the club with selections.
This is a really important role in the club - anyone of any cricketing ability and experience is welcome to put your name forward.
The main focus of the role is
- To make sure that the club has a fit for purpose selection policy in place that reflects best practice
- Ensure that succession planning is in place for Juniors to move up through the playing ranks
- To help succession planning for future captains of our teams to understand the best practice
- To assist the current captains with selection issue as they arise
- and basically to help ensure that we have a common sense fair approach to selection so that all members have the opportunity to play
Anyone interested, I'm sure there are loads of eager members, please let cillian.mccarthy@greystonescricket.com know and we can get the ball rolling.
Remember the club only exists because people are willing to give up time and put work in - its you're club so please, if you can volunteer, please do!
