Well here is your chance!!
The Fantasy League is Here!!
The idea of the fantasy league is to get the whole club involved from the newest members to the those who've been here since the beginning. Can you pick the best performing team? - We'll soon see.
How does it work? Each team has a max budget of £100 million and must consist of 5 batsmen, an all rounder, a wicket keeper and 4 bowlers. Within your team you must have a female player and an underage player. Any team entered not conforming to this criteria will be ejected until they conform.
Prizes will be decided due to the number of teams entered with the closing date for the first transfer window on the 11th of May so get in quick to avoid disappointment. There will be a 1st prize, 2nd prize and last place.
The link to the site that is specially designed for Greystones CC is http://greystonescricket.easyfantasycricket.com with all the rules and everything that you will need on the site. Each team costs £8 (its an English website, before you ask and roughly equates to €10) with half of this fee coming back to Greystones CC so not only will you have something to talk over after and during the season but will being helping your club while doing it.
You can enter as many teams as you like and even encourage your partners and friends to have a go. I'm sure they hear so much about who does what that they often have a better idea than us the players!!
