Mitch comes with a wealth of coaching and playing experience, having previously represented both Leinster and Ireland at U13, 15, 17 and 19 levels, as well as being a member of the Munster Red playing group last season. He has also benefitted from playing time abroad in South Africa, Australia and the UK. Coaching wise, Mitch has worked with Cricket Leinster for the last 4 seasons as a Development Officer and Interprovincial coach.

We are absolutely delighted to have him on board and hugely excited by the impact it will have on our youth section!

Indoor training starts Sunday 30th January in BIFE

Fancy brushing up on your forward defence? Or throwing down the stumps whilst on the move?

We are delighted to announce that all members are welcome to our indoor fitness and skill set sessions, running every Sunday for the next couple of months, until we are able to trust the weather and get outside! All you need to bring is your energy and enthusiasm!

See you at 1pm on Sunday, in BIFE!

A huge raffle will take place on the day with some fantastic prizes.

All proceeds will go to The Australian Firefighters Fund - a very worthy cause given the tremendous work they do!

Any U9s registered via the CL website receive full personal accident insurance and a branded starter pack. In addition, their club will be refunded €3.00 for all U9s which will be paid as a once-off lump sum to contribute to club coaching & supervision

Coach Assist UK announcement

The club are delighted to announce that our Youth development coaching team will be working alongside 'Coach Assist UK' for the upcoming season.

Under the guidance of former First Class cricketer Nathon Rimmington, Coach Assist is an online platform designed to give our coaching team a wide range of drills and exercises to use with all our Youth teams this season. Coaches will be working in the background over the coming weeks to begin to put together new training programmes for our youth teams to benefit from, once restrictions are eased and training can begin again. All the coaches are very excited by this new initiative and look forward to using the expertise of Coach Assist.
